I want to say a special thanks to our photopgraphers on our day, they were amazing and I highly recommend them! The pictures are perfect in every way, more than I could ever imagine them to be and we are so glad we got the opportunity to work with these professionals.

I'm sorry for the lack of updates, honeymooning a bit.. and I haven't really digest all the impressions from that awesome day yet. It really was the best day of my life, I find it hard to describe the feeling and the emotions that day! And to have all your friends and family gathered to celebrate our love, touched me to the core.. I am forever grateful. We are now Husband and Wife, and I couldn't be happier!!!

There will be more blogposts soon, I just want to look at all the pictures from the day. I need to process the memories, before I start explaining the preparations and the events of the day. But for now we will just enjoy, remember, treasure and relax.. I love that we have a "forever-ever-ever" to look forward to, me and my gorgeous new husband.

Bridal hair style inspo!

This is the final wedding inspiration for my hair, on the big day! Fun, fun.. We'll try to get my hair style to look something like the beautiful Jessica Alba's hair above.. I've been making my own hair jewelry. I've realized that I'm not really the crown or tiara kind of person. But something soft glimmery, wintery and selfmade is really my cup of tea. A bit asymmetrical placed, to make it interesting. I'll post the final results after the wedding, I don't want to spoil the first impression of me as a bride. (For people attending..)

White DIP DIY Cones

Before christmas I dipped some cones in a bucket of white leftover paint, and the result is super decorative. Have tried something similar before, but that time it involved glue and pearls/beads around the cones. The end result of that, wasn't that good.. so I'm working on perfecting it!
But back to my Dip DIY cones, super easy! Just take some iron thread and stick it in the cone, dip it in the color, let it drip and then when it's not dripping as much - move it to a spot where it can hang for a while, preferably with something covering up the surface underneath. I my case, I hung them for a while on a chair with a lot of old papers underneath, as protection. I let them hang there for a couple of hours, then I pulled out the iron thread and just covered up the holes it left, with some brush strokes of paint.
Before and during Christmas and New Year's, I used cones that I had colored the same way, in bouquets and decorations. With the paint being a bit shiny, it made a great contrast to several of the flowers and greens that I used. (Unfortunately, I never took any pictures of it.. didn't have the time.)
Right now I'm enjoying tulips at home, as should you. Don't forget tomorrow is "Tulip Day", so go get yourself some crisp fresh tulips. Perfect for filling that void, now when all those Christmas decorations has disappeared once more..
