With everything I have to, want to and need to do for the moment - It's nice to daydream a bit, just to get a break from reality. And I started to look at some pictures from the time I worked on the island Corsica.
If you're planning a vacation in Europe this summer,
La Corse - is wonderful! So many things to do like hiking and climbing. The smells from the nature and from all the good food. Corsica really has it all with it's high mountains, rich and green valleys, the cleansing fresh rivers and the ocean. (Really clear water so it's perfect if you like snorkeling and diving.. Outside the coast of Calvi, a B-17 bomber plane crashed in 1944 so almost everyday you can go on diving tours to see it.)
I found one of the best sushi restaurants I've ever tried. A restaurant called "Loria" in Île Rousse, and also it's situated in on the beach with a beautiful view of the ocean.
It's a must to rent a car while on the island, that way you get the best out of your vacation and the island! Then you can visit all the beautiful cities, experience the nature and get access to the best beaches. Don't miss Bonifacio, the southern tip of Corsica, with it's chalk-white limestone-sculpted into unusual shapes by the ocean.
If you're renting a car, get full insurance and waiver on the car(not because the traffic is crazy, but because if you get a scratch on the car the car renting companies are meticulous at checking the car when you return it!)
