CupCake Table Decorations

Place some wet floral foam in a cupcake paper liner. It can be good to put some plastic paper in between, so it won't leak. Then you just put flowers carefully into the floral foam. It's good to match some of the flowers with the paper. But keep it simple and voilá! Perfect table decorations, and you can do many in a short amount of time.

#SaveTheArctic

Feels comforting to see people caring about the future..
Go Greenpeace, Go! If you haven't signed up for an Arctic sanctuary, do it now
Over 1 million people have signed their names, let's reach the goal of 2 million.

We need to act now.

And if you're thinking that you're not interested in participating..
well personally, I would like to call you different names.
Because the faith of the Arctic concerns the whole world.

Cerise

Sometimes you just have to fake it.. faking a summer feeling with vivid pink details in all my projects right now. Because the season has so far been quite the disappointment!

On the other hand.. bad weather = good projects actually getting finished!

Speaking about roses..

Look at these gems, that I found tucked away in my mother's old cabinet.
They found a new place in my home now. Joy..!

Sit Down!

I adore this chair from Danish Nordal. They are really good at reusing materials and it certainly gives their furnitures that "one-of-a-kind" edge!
This chair isn't quite in the budget right now, but it's definetly on the list.. Ah, what a boring place the world would be without colors and patterns!

Pukka Tea

When I was sick I drank a lot of tea and hot beverages to get and feel better. Still I can feel that the tough cold I got two weeks ago, haven't really left me yet.. so right now I'm drinking a cup of my new favourite herbal tea.
It's Lemongrass & Ginger from the brand Pukka, and the best part - it's 100% organically grown and ethically sourced. Way to go! And good to know, it's also 100% caffeine-free.

Save the Arctic

"The melting Arctic is under threat
from oil drilling, industrial fishing and conflict.
You can save the Arctic."

Come on.. it's easy, it only takes a minute of your time and it's the right thing to do! Take a stand and sign your name - we can declare a global sanctuary in the Arctic. Together. It's now or never, quoting the King..

Remember to SHARE afterwards!

Table with music box

Everytime I visit my parents I always try to take some of the things, I still have in store there, back with me. Good to have all my things in the same place, so I can see how much there is and hopefully use it. (And also give my parents some more space..!)

This time I finally got this little adorable table home. I inherited it from an old aunt. It's a bit delicate, I haven't dared to bring it with me in all my moving around. But because I know that the next time we move, it'll probably be further away from my hometown so it felt like the right time to bring it home now. It's good to sum up the inventory sometimes..
Inside there is a small old music box, and good hiding places for small secrets.

Geranium

I started last week thinking I was going to take a bit of vacation, while visiting family/friends and just relaxing. But only for a couple of days.. but due to allergic reactions followed by me getting sick, made the reducing of blog posts to none at all. Still not fully recovered, but I want to share the different wonderful pelargoniums I admired last week while drinking coffee at my grandmother's house.

The Pelargonium was known as Geranium earlier because they're both included in the botanical family Geraniaceae, but they are actually two separate genera. But the name Geranium is still in regular use for the flower (and also the name of an awesome restaurant in Copenhagen).

I love this plant, it's easy and you can find it in different colors, shapes and with different scents. Some of them are quite tasty and you can use them in your cooking, salads, baking or desserts. And apparently I should have taken some leaves with me, because pelargonium tea sounds very interesting as well! But for now I'll have to settle with ginger tea with some honey and lemon, but it's really good and a great boost if you're sick!
