Today I'm focusing on the human head, doing some exercises to learn how to draw and paint in different styles. I'm using the human head as the main illustration in one of my school projects for the moment, so I really want to experiment a bit before choosing which way to go with my project..
A goal I have is to get better at portraits, so it's really perfect to learn about all the layers that affect our appearance! ;)
There's a lot of good books and tutorials, if you want to get tips on how to improve your drawing skills. Check some titles and where you can buy them. Check your local library after the books or the internet for websites on the subject and youtube for video tutorials - if you want to save the money.
