My grandmother gave me these flowers on my birthday, they're from her garden.
The strong yellow color is actually exactly what we need at home right now! Because they said on the news.. It's going to snow again!! Nooo... let's hope they're wrong.
Forsythia x intermedia
When the stems are "woody" it's always good to put them in really warm water, and of course give them a fresh cut before. If you want them to bloom that is! Or else they will probably just dry out a lot quicker! Remember to change the water every other day (and if needed give a fresh cut) and keep the vase clean, as you should do with all bouquets/flowers.
If it does start, I have beautiful flowers indoors so I can ignore the weather outside!
